Connection Works was established with a deep commitment to focus on the well-being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, culturally diverse groups, and minority communities in Australia.
Connection Works was founded out of a genuine concern for the well-being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, culturally diverse communities, and minority groups in our country. After years of working closely with these communities, it has become evident that our current western framework falls short in meeting their fundamental needs, especially the need for connection.
Director Eli Toombs, Kamilaroi man, and former National Trainer for Living Works iASSIST has walked a path of deep healing. This journey has taught him how connection is at the core of what it means to be human and when we don’t have connection, we can fall victim to the beast that we call suicide.
